Dardanel Tuna is 100% natural. It contains only tuna, oil, water and a small amount of salt depending on the type. Apart from that, it does not contain any preservatives or additives. Its naturalness comes not from the farm but from the clean oceans.

Special nets are used on the Dardanel ships, through which dolphins can escape. Thanks to this method, no harm is done to the dolphins. The "Dolphin Safe" symbols you will see on the Dardanel boxes guarantee that no dolphins are harmed while catching tuna.

There is no heavy metal/mercury risk in Dardanel tuna. Fish caught by natural fishing in clean oceans are subjected to heavy metal (mercury, lead, cadmium) analyzes when entering the country. These analyzes are repeated for each batch. Physical, chemical and microbiological analyzes are also carried out in our quality control laboratory within the factory and in laboratories accredited by the state. After the analysis, the customs procedures of the fish are completed and the import operations are carried out.

We choose Dardanel tuna among the freshest fish that are grown in the Atlantic and Indian oceans and caught by natural hunting. Fish weighing between 1.5 and 3 kg are frozen at -18 degrees Celsius and are delivered to our factory in Çanakkale by large transport ships without spoiling their freshness. We apply high standards in many areas from the natural fishing stage of tuna fish to material selection, recycling processes and production. After the fish are processed with a process completely in accordance with the food codex production process, oil and a small amount of salt are added according to the type, and our healthy packages that do not contain Bisphenol A are filled. As can be understood from the story of our fish, what distinguishes us from other brands is our natural hunting, healthy packaging and additive-free products.

Dardanel tuna can be consumed during pregnancy with peace of mind. All of the fish Dardanel catches by natural fishing come from clean oceans and are 100% natural. Tuna can be consumed during pregnancy due to its high Omega 3 content, low saturated fat content and high protein content.

There is no Bisphenol A substance (BPA) in the boxes used in the boxing process at the Dardanel factory. Dardanel's products, which produce in EU standards, have healthy packaging, it is written on the packages that they do not contain BPA. For this reason, it does not carry a carcinogenic risk.

Dardanel Tuna is not a farmed fish. Yellowfin and Skipjack tuna are caught in the Atlantic and Indian oceans by natural fishing. The most common catching method used in natural fishing is the "Purse Seine" method. Also known as purse seine net, this fishing gear is activated by the installation of a net system that surrounds shoals of fish. Tuna fish caught with a giant net, which takes the form of an open bag with the closing of the ropes surrounding the base of the net, are stored in cabinets at -18 degrees on Dardanel's ships.

Tuna is one of the healthiest sources of protein. Since it contains healthy fatty acids such as omega 3, it is a product that every individual can consume healthily in their daily meals. It protects cardiovascular health and supports immunity. Tuna, which contains natural protein and high Omega 3, meets approximately 47% of the daily protein requirement when consumed 100 grams.
It is seen that there is 23.5 g of protein per 100 g in all varieties of Dardanel ton products. The protein value in canned tuna is only met by tuna.

There is no need to store Dardanel Ton in the refrigerator. It can be stored at room temperature until the Recommended Expiry Date. After opening, it is recommended to cover it with oil and keep it closed in the refrigerator (4 degrees) and to be consumed within 2 days at the most.
