Dardanel Tuna Meatballs with Barbecue Sauce
Ingredients:
For Meatball Filling:
- 150g Dardanel Tuna in Olive Oil
- 2 tablespoons tahini
Barbecue Sauce:
- 3 medium-sized tomatoes, grated
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1 clove garlic (grated)
- Pinch of cumin, red pepper flakes, curry (you can add spices according to your taste)
- Vegetables: carrot, zucchini

Instructions:
1. Mash the tuna with a fork and mix it with tahini. Divide it into rounds by hand when it reaches a paste consistency and let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
2. In a pan, boil the grated tomatoes and tomato paste until it thickens (about 3 minutes). Then, reduce the heat and add garlic, followed by honey and mustard. Finally, add the spices and stir until it thickens.
3. Spread the sauce on a slice of bread, then add the meatball. Top it with grilled vegetables and enjoy.
