The Borsa Istanbul announced changes to the BIST Equity Indices through the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP). According to the announcement, the shares of Dardanel, traded on the Star Market, will be included in the BIST 50 Index as of May 1st. Established in 1984, Dardanel will be listed for the first time in the index, which lists the stock performance of the top 50 companies traded on the Borsa Istanbul, based on market value and trading volume.

With this change, the shares of Dardanel, included in the BIST 50 Index, demonstrate their reliability as an investment option for both domestic and foreign funds investing in BIST 50 Index stocks.

Stocks traded on the Borsa Istanbul are grouped based on price and return performance at certain intervals and according to certain principles to form index groups. Companies to be included in the BIST 30, BIST 50, and BIST 100 indices are selected from the Star Market.
