Dardanel, Turkey's expert in fish and seafood, collaborated with Kepez Municipality to organize a beach cleaning and afforestation event in Kepez. Led by a team of 70 Dardanel factory managers and employees, simultaneous tree planting and beach cleaning were carried out along a 1 km stretch of Kepez beach. Approximately 100 people participated in the event aimed at raising awareness of marine life and nature conservation as part of the Sea Litter Provincial Action Plan, hosted by Dardanel employees.

In an effort to reduce potential risks to ecosystem sustainability and take concrete steps in this direction, Dardanel conducts all its production processes with an environmental consciousness. Having international dolphin-friendly certifications since 1994, Dardanel displays the Dolphin Safe logo on its packaging, signifying dolphin-safe fishing practices. As an advocate for sustainable fishing, Dardanel has been a voluntary member of Friend of the Sea (FOS) since 2013. The brand, with the FOS certification for sustainable seafood, offers Turkey's only dolphin-friendly tuna, showing respect for marine species and the seas.
