Turkey's most read lifestyle magazine, Gentleman, held its 15th annual "Gentleman Awards Ceremony" on Monday, November 28, 2022, at the Swissotel The Bosphorus. Bringing together leading figures from business, arts, sports, and society, the award ceremony honored Niyazi Önen, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dardanel, with the Honor Award. With this award, Önen once again brought pride to Çanakkale, where his brand was born.

The "Gentlemen of the Year Awards Ceremony," traditionally held every year to recognize the best of the year, honors the most successful individuals who make a difference in their fields. The theme of this year's ceremony, held within a different concept each year, was Italy.

In his acceptance speech, Niyazi Önen stated, "I have spent 42 years in my professional career. My job is to create brands, innovate, and contribute to the economy by providing employment. I am proud to own brands both in Turkey and abroad. I congratulate all the companies and initiatives honored tonight.
