Ayşe Önen Özoğuz, a Member of the Board of Directors of the Dardanel Group of Companies and also the General Manager of Önen Gıda, has become a Member of the Executive Board of the Foreign Economic Relations Board-DEİK/Turkey-Greece Business Council.

With her international experience in business development and marketing within the Dardanel Group, her management approach prioritizing R&D and innovation, and her pioneering role in the development of innovative products for value-added exports, Ayşe Önen Özoğuz will play an important role in increasing the foreign trade volume and strengthening international relations between the two countries in her new role on the Executive Board of the DEİK/Turkey-Greece Business Council.

After Dardanel acquired Kallimanis, one of Greece's leading seafood companies, in 2021, under Ayşe Önen Özoğuz's leadership, the company increased its product range, introduced innovations in packaging, brand logo design, and marketing strategies, and closed 2023 with nearly 100% growth in Euro terms in Greece, thanks to a €20 million investment.

Ayşe Önen Özoğuz completed her university education in the United States at Babson College with a double major in Entrepreneurship and Marketing. After completing an Executive Finance Program at Koç University in 2017, she began her career in 2015 as part of the project team responsible for media planning and buying at MEC Global’s New York office. In 2016, she took on the role of Foreign Trade Manager responsible for imports at the Dardanel Group.

Responsible for Dardanel's investments in Greece and its restaurant chain operations, Ayşe Önen Özoğuz serves as a Member of both the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors of the Dardanel Group of Companies. She is also a Member of the Board of Directors of the Çanakkale Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ÇTSO) and holds the distinction of being the first woman to be elected to the ÇTSO Board of Directors in its history.
