For Those Who Can't Give Up Fish and Seafood on New Year's Eve Table: A Healthy and Flavorful Recipe
The end of 2022 is just around the corner. Those who want to welcome the new year with a beautiful table with their loved ones have started to search for a New Year's Eve menu. Fish and seafood, both for their benefits and flavor, stand out as a great choice for those who want to set up a celebration table.
In many countries around the world, serving fish and seafood for New Year's Eve meals is considered a tradition. Whether it's intimate family meals or large celebrations, many recipes include the taste of the sea, from appetizers to salads, main courses to desserts.
Contains Protein and High Omega-3
The reason fish and seafood are so indispensable is due to both their flavor and benefits. Besides being a good source of protein, they contain minerals such as potassium, magnesium, zinc, selenium, phosphorus, iodine, and iron. Additionally, they contain essential fatty acids like omega-3 in high amounts, which our body cannot produce and needs to be taken in through food.
Thanks to these features, fish and seafood provide protective effects against many diseases, supporting immunity and boosting the body's resistance.
Experts recommend that both children and adults consume fish regularly, at least twice a week. For a healthy diet, it is advised to include seasonal vegetables alongside fish.
Dardanel, Turkey's expert in fish and seafood, bringing selected flavors from the healthiest and freshest of the oceans to consumers, is ready to be the star of the New Year's Eve table with products ranging from tuna to frozen items.
