Attending the Seafood Expo Global held in Barcelona from April 26th to 28th this year, the company met with seafood industry professionals from 150 countries with the participation of Dardanel Chairman of the Board Niyazi Önen.

As a pioneer of innovations and firsts, Dardanel became one of the most prominent brands at the fair by bringing Turkey's beloved street food, stuffed mussels, to Barcelona. Visitors were offered Dardanel Stuffed Mussels prepared with mussels grown with the Batea production technology, which is used for the first time in Turkey, in the new investment of Dardanel in the Çanakkale Strait. The stuffed mussels, presented under the Mediterranean Mussels brand, won the admiration of visitors during tastings. Harvested from the mussel production farm, which recently became operational, the mussels are now packaged and frozen to meet consumers with Dardanel's assurance and flavor.

At the fair, the company participated not only with the Dardanel brand but also with Kallimanis, a renowned seafood brand from Greece, which it acquired as part of its global growth vision. Exporting to 25 countries, Dardanel aims to expand its export market by combining its production and marketing experience with Kallimanis, which has over 50 years of experience in the frozen seafood market.
