Celebration at Yedikule on October 4th

Providing food support to shelters with Jazzy products, Dardanel donated 15,000 units of wet cat and dog food to many shelters in Turkey on October 4th, World Animal Protection Day. On this special day, Dardanel volunteers, who came together with our animal friends, fed the dogs living in the shelter with Jazzy products.

Meral Olcay, the authorized person of Yedikule Animal Shelter, said; "Every living being born wants to live; the right to life is the most sacred right. Wet foods are useful for being able to administer medicine to our animals and to empower them by making a complete feed. A puppy dog was brought to our shelter almost ready to say goodbye to life. But we volunteers are here to keep them alive. The puppy named Veda was resisting to eat anything to avoid eating. We gave him the wet food that Dardanel sent to our shelter as a donation. Our little puppy, who hadn't lifted his head for days and refused to eat or drink, started eating the wet food. We were all overjoyed. The treatment of our boy Veda continues, we hope his wounds will heal very soon and he will be able to walk with his walker. Love, attention, and patience are the cure for every pain."
