Dardanel, Turkey's expert in fish and seafood products, celebrates its 40th year with pride. Continuing to enhance Turkey's share in the global food industry through investments in production, Dardanel expands its product diversity both domestically and internationally through its ongoing R&D and innovation efforts. Founded in 1984, Dardanel continues to grow in every sector it invests in, maintaining its position among Turkey's foremost companies with an innovative, reliable management and production approach centered on R&D and innovation over the past 40 years. Adding yet another social responsibility project to its portfolio, Dardanel planted 10,000 Turkish pine saplings in Çanakkale, where its production and investments are centered, as part of its 40th-anniversary celebrations in 2024.

Speaking at the inauguration of the "Dardanel 40th Year Memorial Forest," Dardanel Founder and Chairman of the Board Niyazi Önen stated, "We celebrate our 40th anniversary with pride. For 40 years, just as we always have, we continue to contribute to Çanakkale, our homeland. We endeavor to touch and support the city's social life through our commitment to social responsibility, particularly in areas such as sports, education, culture, and media. While contributing to the country's economy and employment through our production, we also implement sustainable projects in the field of social responsibility. We maintain our identity not only as a company that adds value to the national economy but also as a company that impacts social life.

"As a product of this approach, through our collaboration with the Çanakkale Forest Regional Directorate, we are creating lasting value with the planting of 10,000 Turkish pine saplings in the Kalabaklı and Çanakalan regions. We will digitally certify each sapling planted in the name of Dardanel employees and stakeholders. We are delighted to leave a green legacy to Çanakkale and future generations. We thank everyone who supported us today, including the Çanakkale protocol and our executives, employees, and stakeholders."

For the "Dardanel 40th Year Memorial Forest," 2,500 Turkish pine saplings were planted on a 15,000 m² plot in Kalabaklı and 7,500 on a 45,000 m² plot in Çanakalan.
